Delmar's new 24-hour lighted shore base facility also has upgraded its lifting capacity to a 4600 Manitowoc Ringer Crane rated at 650 tons with a 330-foot boom length. The crane, the largest lifting capacity crane at Port Fourchon, greatly enhances the ability of Delmar's base to support the requirements for deepwater Gulf of Mexico operations. The extended boom reach, along with 600 feet of dockside access, permits multiple vessel loadouts without repositioning either the vessels or the crane.

The facility has additional lifting capacity, including a 150-ton crawler crane, two 52,000-pound heavy lift forklifts, and a state of the art dockside chain handling system for easy loading and offloading of anchor chain.

The Fourchon facility can also provide access to heavy-lift and third party storage for multiple users, including anchor handling, drilling and production operations. For more information on Delmar's dockside services click here.
