Pipeline Towing & Installation

Delmar offers a unique set of procedures that allows installation of deepwater pipeline bundles. Engineering expertise and rigging skills were successfully demonstrated on the Troika project, which connected the Bullwinkle production facility via two parallel 14-mile, 20-inch pipelines.

Four, 7-mile stretches of pipeline were built on the beach, then towed into position for the first subsea completion to be performed in deepwater (2,700 feet) without using a derrick barge, saving the customer time and money.

Other projects that have been successfully executed include Enserch Cooper Prospect and Amerada Hess Penn State.
In managing the project from start to completion, Delmar provided the following services:

Towing material and equipment procurement, staging, and deployment.
Coordination of labor and deployment from the beach, tow to location, and installation.
Installation of the pipeline to the riser.
